Jason Courtoy

Jason is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University with a B.S. in International Relations and a double minor in History and Global Studies. His studies focused on European political systems, philosophy, and history; Russian history and political system; and Asian studies. Jason was on the Dean’s List in 2009, 2010, and 2011.
His study abroad experience in Ireland, centered on learning about Ireland’s Educate Together schools, and his experience tutoring in Washington, D.C. showed him his love to educate others.
He is currently pursuing a M.A. of International Affairs at MTSU.
Jason is an alumnus of the Washington Center for Internships and Academic Courses in Washington, D.C. While in D.C., he worked as a Research and Editorial Assistant for the Nonproliferation Policy Education Center (NPEC) editing research grant proposals and research papers. He also studied Chinese foreign policy, and was a participant in the 2011 NMUN Asian-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) representing the Chinese delegation in the Internal Security Working Group (ISWG).
